Jodie L. Crandell, QISP, TOR, QEP

Ms. Crandell has over 30 years of experience in the environmental compliance field and manages the environmental side of Renovitas. Her team provides comprehensive Environmental, Health and Safety Consulting Services to a wide variety of clients in the areas of storm water general permit compliance, health and safety programs and plans, air permitting, and solid and hazardous waste management. Additionally, she does the project management on Renovitas contracts and grants. She was the senior project manager for the Renewable Energy Testing Center (RETC) for U.S. Army contract and has considerable experience successfully running multiple multimillion dollar federal and California contracts.

George Crandell – Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Crandell is the Chief Technology Officer for Renovitas and has over 35 years of experience as an engineer and manager in the areas of energy, environmental and metal casting manufacturing operations. He is a partner in Renovitas, LLC and focuses on the energy consulting side of the company with a focus on waste conversion technologies. Mr. Crandell has combined a strong background in metals melting operations, thermal processing and environmental measurement to the waste to energy or fuels area. Additionally, he has been responsible for the management of the Renewable Energy Testing Center (RETC), a unique testing and validation facility, funded by the U.S. Army.


Bill Walden – President

Mr. Walden is the CEO and President of Renovitas LLC, a Sacramento, California company specializing in renewable energy consulting, testing and technology validation, environmental consulting and project development. He has a career that is evenly divided between private sector management and U.S. Department of Defense.

Mr. Walden formed Renovitas as an energy and environmental consulting company with George Crandell in 2009.  Renovitas has successfully performed technical and business consulting in a variety of areas such as waste gasification, geothermal, syngas-to-liquid conversion, energy and eco-park design and medical waste destruction.


Annum Tariq

Ms. Tariq is a Junior Environmental Consultant at Renovitas, LLC. She has experience with the new Stormwater Industrial General Permit and has written and reviewed several Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs). She operates as a consultant to facilities for their Stormwater and Hazardous Waste, as well as their general environmental compliance. Ms. Tariq has knowledge of the metal industry and metal foundries, and is working on her certification to become a QISP.


Ms. Tariq hold a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management with an emphasis in Natural Resource and Management from the University of California Davis.


Hannah Bastian

Ms. Bastian is a Junior Environmental Specialist at Renovitas, LLC. She has authored and organized several Storm Water Pollution Plans (SWPPPs) based on the latest Storm Water Industrial Permit. In addition to authoring SWPPPs, she has developed training packets to teach employees about their SWPPP and the required documentation. She has developed comprehensive Health and Safety Programs and trainings for industrial facilities.


Ms. Bastian holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics with an Emphasis in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis.


Kelly Hansen

Ms. Hansen is a Junior Environmental Consultant at Renovitas, LLC. She has experience with the new Stormwater Industrial General Permit and has contributed to several Storm Water Pollution Plans (SWPPPs) based on the permit. She is currently becoming familiarized with health and safety regulations so she can provide more comprehensive compliance assistance and support to our clients.
